May 2004 Yellowstone, Tetons,
Canyonland NP, Arches NP Moab,Utah Trip

Debbie and I flew to Las Vegas, rented a car and drove 750 miles
through Salt Lake City and Pocatello and Idaho Falls on our way to Yellowstone.
I'm not into Mormonism at all and I didn't particularly like Salt Lake
City. We stayed at west Yellowstone one night and 2 nights in the park at
the Old Faithful Inn. Gorgeous. Yellowstone is so big it takes days
to just ride the terrain - we hiked and walked to most of the geysers - many are
dangerous and many are un-predictable as to when they will erupt next. We
went early spring and got there just after the park opened ( they have to keep
the roads cleared with snow plows ).
